All pending uploads have now finished processing.

Update

AWS is recovering. We've spun up more machines to get through the backlog of uploads.

Update

The problem has spread to design thumbnails and other images, which are loading slower than normal.

AWS has identified the issue and is working to resolve the situation (http://status.aws.amazon.com/)

Monitoring

Uploads are taking longer to process, due to EC2 scaling failures in the us-east-1 region (http://status.aws.amazon.com/). We're monitoring the situation.
